Mama...I don't feel so good...

Poor, precious, pitiful Par.
We seem to be making up for lost time when it comes to being sick around here.
Which brings me to my excuse for lack of posting...we've been sick. As you read, I was sick at Par's birthday--then Rusty got it. Then just as Rusty and I were feeling back to normal--Par got sick. He had a fever for about 4 days straight--unfortunately, this coincided with Thanksgiving--so we had a really low key T-giving--although we missed seeing everyone terribly. After Par was back to his silly self it was December! We missed an entire month!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So...we packed a lot into the first week in December...
Picking our tree...

Watching daddy cut down the tree...

Watching daddy drag the tree away...

Telling Santa what we want (Here you see that Santa said "no" to the Life size Dr. Kays doll)...

Trying on the Christmas outfit I've been making him for the billionth time to make sure he looks super cute...

Cousin Frances' baptism (Rusty's god-daughter)...
Playing with puppies...

and baking, wrapping, sealing, sticking, etc....wow...it has been crazy!!!!!!!!

Now little par is sick....it started Sunday night...and escalated Monday night to green stuff and a sleepless night for Par...we headed to the Dr. first thing this morning where Par finally found relief (and some Z's) with a breathing treatment.

They sent us home with instructions to do this every 4 hours...thankfully, he doesn't mind it--I think he realizes it makes him feel better. Please keep Par in your prayers...he has had a fever and some wheezing (which means there is "stuff" in his chest)--it could turn into something bad...hopefully we started treating it at just the right time and it will leave as quickly as it came.
As a side note...Rusty has been one step ahead and I am glad I listened to him--he was right about 4 different things that could have had us in a worse spot today had I not listened to him. Yay Rusty! (he is an amazing daddy!)
Thank you for your prayers!!!!!!!!!

Poor Par, I hope he feels better soon. I'm glad he got to visit with Santa -- we are taking Claire to see him tomorrow night.

He does look like he has grown so much. John and I have been sick lately, too. John thinks the breathing treatments are cool, too. He has the masks that look like fish and hippos. Another tip is that a Rocephin shot always worked quickly for John when he has respiratory troubles. We'll forgive you for not updating this time, but don't let it happen too often :)

Love ya,
