Our first official CDH Awareness Day was a huge success! We celebrated and spread awareness at Starbucks near our house. The gathering was intimate—but a great start! Par was a hit and everyone got to see/touch a piece of Par’s Gor-tex patch (Dr. Kay’s saved a scrap for us).
Par kicked off the event with the cutting of the cake!
Par’s cousin Elizabeth presented him with a very official CDH award—and obviously came dressed for the event. In return, Par gave Elizabeth a reminder of the first CDH Awareness Day!

We thank Starbucks for allowing our gathering and we sincerely thank everyone who came so late on a Monday night!
